As stated you still have your Halos and MGS's and whatever oither games you consider hardcore coming to your favourite consoles. (Aside from Fatal Frame of course, one of my all time favourite series being Wii exclusive now)The main difference between this gen and last gen is that the Wii now has all the throw away games such as Anubis II and sch as opposed to the PS2. If you consider that a loss to the hardcore gamer then so be it but just because a 'gimmick' has sold a console more than the actual games on it doesn't mean it sucks because it's beating yout favourite console. You still enjoy playing the games you enjoy playing and they enjoy playing the games they do. And the 'gimmick' brings something new to gaming which I'm sure will be made clear in the next generation of console. However don't expect the hardcore games on the 360 and the PS3 to suffer because the Wii has been so popular.Well my opinion is the Wii has some weak games and their catalog is horrible, I like the Halos, Marios, and MGS's of the video game world I just like video games in general, I give truthful unbiased opinions daily and I hate the stannery that goes on for systems in here which is why I almost never post in here and stick to the sports discussions. I had a Wii last year after 2 months I sold it because I didn't find any good games to justify keeping it. Yesterday I went to Gamestop to possibly look at getting a Wii I looked at the shelf to see what games they had so I can get back to playing it again and I still couldn't find enough games to justify buying it. I walked up to the front to look at the book with the release dates in it and I didn't see promise there either so I respectfully passed on getting another Wii. You sound more disgruntled for me giving my opinion than I do for the Wii having cwappy games.

Ha, just give this guy some time. I use to rant like this about the Wii, then i wised up. Im sure we will see him posting the typical "I was wrong, what the hell was i thinking" post in a few months.
Hey anything is possible like I mentioned I'm a fan of games in general I would like to get another Wii but they have to sell me on it first by dropping some more outstanding games I would hate to have a system and have it sit in my living room collecting dust, use it or lose it.
