I've been playing the beta for a while now and I'm glad for the beta but I'm worried with a Feb release date not everything can be fixed

I've been playing this beta for awhile also and, being the 4th ranked racer in XP at the this time of writing, I can say the driving is fine for a kart racer. I don't know what you're expecting from the physics, but I never thought of it as a problem.
The whole thing about racing is the drift. When you learn to drift, there will never be any corner that you can't make. I've been able to drift my around every corner of the three official tracks and my personal tracks I created (the first track of mine has many sharp corners and requires good handling to excel). I actually think the drift feature is so overpowered in the amount of control it allows, and the bonus boost you receive from a good drift. It isn't difficult to build up at least two full bars on any of the official tracks per lap, thanks to excessive drift (well, maybe just one bar for the fairly short farm course).

Also, I don't think I've ever pressed the brake button in a kart racer unless I drive straight into a wall, since brake is always the same button as reverse. Incidentally, I've actually braked a few times in this game to prevent from slamming into a wall as I like to extend my drifts to obscene levels (unsafe but pays off).

I think the camera's fine. I'm a real daring driver and I can handle it. In fact, I give kudos to the camera for staying on the track infront of me when I'm madly drifting around a corner, with my kart almost directly facing the wall. Actually, though, the only thing I'd like improved in the camera is that it should adjust accordingly when you're driving up an incline. I've had to rebalance my tracks many times to make sure the driver isn't staring at the sky all the time while going up, and isn't blind to the next segments of the track.
