What the hell? Last time I checked this posts had at least 100 comments?!?! For f*ck sake GameSpot, why are you constantly deleting my / peoples comments? It's f*cking lame!
I'm wasn't really interested in VR to begin with, but I was a little curios about it; it seemed like a cool new accessory for gaming / watching movies in general. Now Facebooks buys Oculus Rift, and I think that sh*t company buying a promising brand was a really good move. Financially. The public isn't all that aware of VR yet, but the gaming community is, so when VR becomes available for everyone I'll bet my old hat that Facebook will make it look as if they invented the damn thing, and people will believe them. And I'll bet another old f***ing hat that it'll work out for them, and that dipshit Mark Z will make another billion dollars.
However! Facebook have such a hard time getting it right even with the most simple of things, it took them years to get an App to work properly on smartphones, they've constantly fucked up their own social media due to crappy coding and the list goes on. Can't really imagine this going very well, especially when they have little to no experience with high end gaming..... Maybe they'll create a new type of virtual farm with it?
I can't figure out if I'm gonna spend 1000$ upgrading my PC, or just buy a damn PS4 and play games on that for the next 6 years without upgrading anything. It's far cheaper, most likely to be more stable, runs on my beautiful high def Samsung TV, and I can sit in my beanbag chair or my couch.... Then again a PC is a PC... Hard one to choose.. ;)
I'm actually a little bit scared my PS3 will break soon, I've been using it a whole lot, and if it does break- the night between sep. 16 & 17 when I sit with GTA V in my hands, I'll wander out into the night and steal one from a fat kid.. Not proud, but that's what's gonna happen. He has to be fat. Really fat.
