I buy games to have fun and enjoy playing it and the story line. The acheivements are a cool idea and I like how accomplishing some unlocks something in game so you have more to go back to. Playing just for acheivements is lame.
They've been preatty sparse here due to high demand. I was surprised yesterday when I saw 2 at a store near me. If its your only option have the friend buy it and hope that store gets a good supply of NA region games.
Don't buy the cooling fans. just keep it in an open space where it can get good airflow. as for the falcon thing, check the build date, and yes my power brick says 175w but some falcons still have the 230w brick. If you have to know just type in "xbox falcon" in google and you should find some methods of checking.
Power surges and brownouts can hurt electronics, but I've heard from a lot of sources that the system gets so hot inside that it softens up the soder used to connect the gpu and cpu to the boards to come loose and fail. It could be a number of things.
Theres a usb device nintendo makes. You plug it into a usb port and it shares the internet connection with the wii. It should be about 30 dollars or so.
I have to say that was a bit dumb on ninty's part. I mean I own a wii as well and would love to see goldeneye/banjo kazooie on the vc and up for dl on xbox live. sad.
