i buy a console to play vidya games! not watch tv and peruse the interwebs. plug in a controller, play some game, turn it off, not feel threatened by the fact that some large conglomerate of a company has installed a always on webcam in my living room.

what your not understanding though is it shouldn't be about consoles. it should be about the games. There literally is zero need for my console to

1) work as a DVR

2) connect to internet daily

3) spy on my personal life

4) force me to use a worthless peripheral

5) control the games that i want to play

6) require me to pay extra money to connect to the internet that i'm already paying for.

all thats left for racing sims is new environments. such as raining, snowing, changes in time period, better particle effects, lighting, more realistic audiences, and music

games been out for a while on pc. just look it up and stop assuming there isn't gameplay. It plays fairly well by the way.
