I thoroughly recall that somewhere in this union or maybe it was the final fantasy experience union, We decided to match up link and cloud. Now what happened was Link one by default. This is because Link was able to go back in time (being the hero of time) and defeat cloud. This is because when Link was a child, he was a hero skilled in the way of the sword, where as cloud was just a kid. Couldn't this information be used in the same way for Link to automatically win? Whenever making a, "who do you think would win" thread. try to include someone who is much older than link therefore it wouldn't matter if he went back in time (to some extent anyways) an example of this would be kratos.. but then Kratos would obviously win...
I must say.. FFX was quite the easy game.. but my favorite to play and the one I'm best at is probably FFVI (which is suprisingly not a common favorite)
There has been may of the same Topics of which has asked for your Favourite Summon and they are getting too repetitive but i will go with it.
My Favourite Summon is the Almighty Dark Aeon Anima (Actual name and title). He is the Strongest of the lot and even if he is attacked, he barely flinches. His Power is out of this World and isnt easy to Vanquish. To come up against Anima is almost in impossible battle to beat. No Aeon can Surpass this Amazing and well Established, Powerful Aeon.
Also its Bottom half has a Good Set of Knickle Dusters. When Anima uses Oblivion and the Knuckle Dusters come out, you really have to watch and hope you survive because they attack is Astonishing. I can honestly say that it is the best Overdrive in Final Fantasy X. ffxjunky06
Yeah I definitely have to agree with you here ( escept the part about Anima being a she) But with Anima at my side I was able to finish off my father or sins final form in just 2 or three blows with anima's normal attack. Which always totaled 99,999! I love it because in all other FF games.. the most you can do is 9,999 so anima owns.. also Auron has an amazingly powerful attack as well that once you unlocked his limit break.. He could achieve 99,999 as well
No contest. I don't understand why you'd make a discussion like this because if Sora (don't get me wrong he's great and everything) can beat Cloud in Kingdom Hearts... He's clearly weaker than the original because Cloud could kill sora in a matter of seconds... and the same goes for Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts.
Well they just chose random characters and because FFX was big at the time... i guess they just decided to throw Tidus and Wakka into the mix..I don't really know what's up with the Selphie girl though.
Yeah roxas was alright. I really liked using sora though. but it would be fun to use roxas again in wisdom form.(using oathkeeper and oblivion). but it's like what buddy said it sorta sad how roxas has to give his own life for sora. but it's weird how we see him again in the world that never was when he almost owns sora. on that hotel building thing.
I'm voting Link because if we are going off the Ocarina of Time, then Link could just go back in time through the power of the Master Sword and the creators of the world, and smite Cloud as an infant.Gorman7147

Well yes it would be a great battle to witness...but from what i've seen ...cloud has a much quicker and more powerful fighting style than link which means he is more likely to prevail as champion. Cloud might be able to kill link while he whips the ocarina out of his pocket. What we need is for someone to do an aniamtion of this battle .. oh yeah!
Hi my name is jordan, and I'm thoroughly interested in joining the final fantasy union because Final fantasy began my love of gaming. I remember first playing Final Fantasy 3 (US version and also known as fianl fantasy 6) and it had such a mature storyline and characters. The monsters of this series started my love of art and how it's used. I hav played nearly every final fantasy game and am quite the guy. I hope you can offer me a spot in your union.
So...Do you need to play CoM to know what's going on in KH 2? Because I'm not about to get a GBA just to play one game Canuck3000
I've often wondered the same thing ( i've got a ds so i could easily rent it though) but I think it would definitely help... there's been many forums on the the subject and most have the same verdict.. i actually plan on stealing the game from my friends girlfriend .. but seriously yeah Kingdom hearts 2 is just as good as it's predecessor... I'm actually at the second last world right now.. (i've got the special edition game guide of course though). I'm sure anyone will like this game... i've evenintroduced it to my friends and it's made them start the series aswell.
