@buffaloblitz85 @JukedSolid Oh yeah? Is it along the same lines of absolute power corrupting absolutely but to a lesser degree? Probably more complicated but... Hey maybe that is the solution. Kind of a throwback to the Greek democracy where everyone served for a year and then went back to normal jobs when it was over. Of course that has kinks that need to be fixed, but I think it could be applicable in today's government.

@buffaloblitz85 Yeah and any extra money made should go back in to the organization for other things. i.e. THE DEBT!!! sheesh. With all the red tape and useless expenditures, maybe a plutocracy would get more things done haha. But still, America would have to go the way of the Romans for that to ever even be an option.

@buffaloblitz85 @MXVIII @JukedSolid That's it right there. Ideals have changed, but with the way everything is nowadays, it sure as hell hasn't been for the better. They need to change again. lol

@MXVIII @JukedSolid @buffaloblitz85 True, but doesn't it just bother you that people tend to use that excellent notion as a cop out to say "I can destroy myself and this country however I want" That may not be the case but it sure seems like it sometimes.

@buffaloblitz85 @JukedSolid Then what would anyone do? Theoretically of course. Make every government workers tax and income forms completely transparent for everyone in the public to see, or maybe have the IRS audit them annually? There just has to be some way to get people thinking about America rather than themselves...Right?

@buffaloblitz85 @JukedSolid Straight up. The only way I can see it changing is if the president turns the government into a non-profit, and the only people that become politicians are the people that actually care about the country and not so much themselves. A pipe dream if I ever heard one though.

@buffaloblitz85 @JukedSolid Very true, but who are the people that should actually be trying their hardest to influence the way society thinks for the better? It should be politicians and public figures, but it often seems more and more like they're the ones instilling poor values by being more focused on keeping the status quo and making more money for less work rather than making things better.
