@texasgoldrush @JukedSolid @Spotted_Pelt So disperse one of the many humans that already got their DNA collected. Disperse Anderson. DISPERSE THE ILLUSIVE MAN!!! All of these would be logical real world solutions that are being overlooked for plot convenience sake
@Spotted_Pelt @JukedSolid @texasgoldrush No that doesn't cut the mustard either. They harvested millions of humans already. They would have known the human DNA template backwards and front by the time shep gets up there. He could have just set one of the human based reapers to do that. I call BS and plot convenience on that one.
@Spotted_Pelt @texasgoldrush @JukedSolid You know I would have been fine with either of those endings also. You're right. I just need it to make sense rather than have endless dubious questions that require fan interpretation. An ending needs to be just that. An ending! A distinct sense of finality. No loose threads.
@Spotted_Pelt @texasgoldrush Totally agreed. A paragon shep would not have picked the destroy ending if he had the choice to just sacrifice himself rather than all the geth, but that in itself brings up another problem: Why would synthesis require a sacrifice at all? You said why need a bullet to turn on a machine, but I also mentioned in an earlier comment (which no one responded to btw) that you wouldn't need to cut off your finger to sync your iPod so why does Shepard need to dissolve himself to start the synthesis process?
@Spotted_Pelt @JukedSolid @texasgoldrush I know right? At least then the ending would be kinda based on your own skill level. You either lose or kick destiny in the face.
