First of all, actually play the game on a HDTV before you rate them. Anybody that has played SMG and Gears on the same TV would know that they are comparable in every category. The art style of these two games are very different but I had more "wow" moments with Mario flying across the surface of planets than any time during Gears.

In contrast, I think they had to sacrifice the size of the levels to achieve these graphics, making the game not as deep.

Umm... I have played both on a 50" 1080 hdtv. Gears upscaled and running at 1080p and SMG on component. I haven't played SMG on a sdtv but I have played games of the same resolution and similar texture quality. I have also seen Gears on sdtv and while the flaws in the older games are hidden Gears has reduced picture quality compared to hdtv. If you think they are of the same graphics quality your nuts, absolutely crazy and I really don't know what else to say.

It would help if you listed these games and told us why they were better then what is on offer on other platforms. If there is only a few you might also have to conisder that people may not want to buy a console just to play a short single player game with limited replay value.

Forza 2 isn't AAA. Use the rankings section to see the top rated games on each platform. This link shows the top 20 games on 360 and Forza 2 is clearly lower then 90.0

For the love of god stop listening to the cows, it has been proven to lower your IQ. 97.6 > 97.5 and 90.0 > 89.9. Oot is rated higher then SMG and the average score of Uncharted is not equal or greater than 90.0 (AAA). Now that's settled I wonder when PS3 will get it's first AAAE?
