Stairs, stairs, stairs. Cant stress it enough. If your lucky you will get up there use estus flask, kill dogs, and then be able to do your dropping attacks on the capra demon. If he follows you up the stairs just jump down and try again. That one for me was always a matter of cheesing it with the stair/jump down strategy.
Thats what happens. He just follows me up there fast as hell and I can't hit him >:[ .Funniest part is when you finally make it up the stairs, kill the dogs but then you get your vision blocked by some tree branches.........-_-.
