PSN still down?

Hello.

is anynone else unable to sign in to psn since the march 5th maintenance?

it's been telling me that Sony Entertainment Network is undegoing maintenance , but it is stated on their twitter that PSN is now online.

i have searched the web and it is to say that i am the only one that is making this complaint.

i live in the caribbean and i have an american/US Psn account.

i am taking some time of from work, so when my wife is working in the morning i would love to pwn some noobs on black ops.

thank you for your time and opinion/advice.

i REALLY am considering on getting a xbox 360 if this keeps up.

well this is happening to some of my friends down here too , so it isn't happening to only me. hmmmm :|

it also gives me the message 8002a203 when i sign in to my user account on my ps3.

Same problem here. I'm about to contact support. I keep getting the same message that says that the network is still under maintenance. I can't log in from my PS3, PC, Laptop, and not even on the website from work. My friends also have the same problem. I'm also from the Carribean.Jerell_rast

Mine is working fine.

This is clearly a error on sony's part.
Let's just wait it out, although I've been able to go online yesterday, it's only begun to give me error messages this morning.

I sent a complaint on march 6th and got a very general answer that basically told me that it's on my end. Then I sent another mail to support on March 8th pointing out that all my friends have the same problem and I can also confirm similar reports from the Bahamas and Aruba. The second time they told me that they can only help US residents and that I must choose the correct region. So basically they ignored my second mail and told me to choose a region that doesn't even exist on the main page. Jerell_rast

Well...we called Sony.....on the phone we had to make a new profile on the PS3 to see if that profile will log on online, of course it didnt. Then they said we will have to wait another 24-48 hours to go online because looks like not all of the servers are up yet.toeties

Apparently the issue resides in your region's servers. Give it some time and try tomorrow morning.

It did go down for maintenance awhile but it wasn't really that long, it's fine for eme.

And I would hold off on going to Xbox, it goes down for maintenance aswell sometimes. And you gotta pay for online MP and the only real difference is cross game party chat, is that worth $60? Didn't think so.

It should be working fine now.
