If I had a choice between replaceable and non-replaceable I will chose replaceable anytime. What happens when the PS4 battery runs down? Ship it back to Sony?

I would never buy another desktop PC. I prefer the convenience of having a laptop and i am not upgrading my laptop to play any games.

I have not owned a PlayStation since the first one. There are lots of things I like about the Xbox and lots of things that I don't like. I like the online experience and with the Xbox one it is even better because we now play on dedicated servers. What I don't like is the fact that you need to be a gold member to access some features like Amazon Prime.

I also like the idea of one device for my cable tv and games to make it easy to switch between the two. I wouldn't even consider a wii. To me it is a waste of money and caters to little kids. At my age I cannot play mario and zelda games. They wouldn't keep my attention.

@Frozzik: Since when is DDR3 slow? What do you think PCs are using for memory today?

In the usa? given this is pretty much xbox land, and the only region where people are dumb enough to support the xbox brand, I would call it a big Flop if it can't even outsell the PS4 day one.

How mature of you to call people dumb for liking the Xbox.

@Krelian-co: I rather use my pc for work and other useful stuff than spend $300 on a video card and $300 on a cpu.

Why not both? A cheap PC can already do more than a game console can, and if you take the price of a game console, and invest that instead into a PC you would still get anyway, then that PC can still do everything else that PCs do, and doubles as a game machine, that's better at playing games than designated game machines. And in many cases, the games themselves are cheaper, for the platform that runs them best. Fancy that.

Every time I try to make this argument, consolites can suddenly only use smartphones/tablets as their primary PCs, or it's impossible to enjoy games on PC because PCs are only for work or something. There's always some kind of excuse.

It is called preference. I prefer not to use my computer to play games. I find it to be boring.

I can't believe people still continue to make these type of threads.
