@marksteffjr: I had this exact conversation this week. Where I live, videogames can cost up to 50 times more than in the States compared to the wage-purchase ratio and still people getting a game for the (aproxmimated) 100th part of their salary complain about the price.

Where I live, buying a PS4 or XboxOne takes more than the monthly pay for a full-time job, whereas a triple A tittle usually costs a quarter of it.

The Wolverine is a really good X-Men movie perhaps this one is good too or even better.

I don't care much about reviews because they tend to be rather subjective even though I know complete objectivity is impossible.

@golden1elite: How am I a racist?!

I didn't write nor direct the advertisement. I just pointed out a troublesome fact about it.

In any case, Nintendo or the agency behind this should be labelled as racist.

Has anyone else noticed that there are no black people playing with the console in the advertisement?

At launch, there should be a game for every target audience possible.

Also and more important, the machine must come with a full-fledged bundled title like the SNES did.

Nintendo could simply release the Switch with a re-release of Paper Mario, Wind Waker or any Metroid for the NGC/Wii.

They still can and should.

@Kunakai: To begin with, the main problem is the plot; Capcom has rarely been able to write a decent story for a game unlike Konami.

Then, there's theme problem; I don't want to offend anyone but zombies are one of the most stupid themes around.

I never really enjoyed much a RE game, maybe the 4th but I did enjoy playing Silent Hill, Dead Space and Fatal Frame I-II.

And, yes, Milla was good on Joan of Arc (I'm happy there's somebody else besides me that watched it and enjoyed it) but she's never been a gifted performer. She seems to be pretty much dependent on the director's take; Besson is good so he could pull some decent acting out from her but that's him.

I really like her and watched many of her movies: all the RE, Zoolander, JoA, The 5th Element, The three musketeers, The Fourth Kind, Ultraviolet... she's fun to watch but she definitely has serious performing issues, sometimes borderlining the ridiculous.

I'm sorry for Milla. She tried to do films instead of movies but simply couldn't.

She wasn't perfect in Joan of Arc (her second with Besson's direction) but it turned out being decent and she did a good job in The Fifth Element because she didn't have almost any lines.

Once her Hollywood career is over, the world will only remember her fondly for those two movies.

I just wish she got a decent acting coach so that she could get better roles.

@darthrevenx: You almost quoted Walter Benjamin, who was a culture critic from the mid XX century.

"when you scan in a photo into the computer then print it out then scan it again the image loses major detail and quality and this is what game adaptations are.....a copy of a copy.....or third hand idea......lol"

@darthrevenx: Popular movies are bad but it isn't noticed most of the times because there are no direct references to compare them, which is not the case with video game adaptations.

The first Silent Hill movie is quite decent.
