A commercial for the Nintendo Switch will air during Super Bowl LI this weekend, Nintendo has announced. You don't have to wait until Sunday to see the video, as Nintendo put out an extended version of it today. It covers the Switch's hybrid nature, with segments showing people playing the console at home on a TV and via the tablet-like screen on the go, in places like a laundromat or the classroom.

Also on display are some of Nintendo's most recognizable brands, in the form of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8. The video uses the new Imagine Dragons song, "Believer." Check it out:

Nintendo has said it wants to do a better job with the Switch in terms of making sure people know what the console is all about. This video communicates the novelty of the system well, I'd say, and it will be seen by many millions of people.

Super Bowl LI ads sold for an average of $5 million for 30-second spots, up from $4.8 million last year, according to Deadline.

There is no word on when during Super Bowl LI the Switch ad will air. GameSpot will have a roundup of all the video game ads and movie trailers from the broadcast as they're released.

Super Bowl LI takes place at 6:30 PM ET on Sunday, February 5, and airs on Fox. The matchup is between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.
