Do people play the engine or the game?

I've been wondering that lately.

The next E3 might as well have games like Unreal Engine, Frostbyte 3, White Engine, Unity or Crytek among a very few others.

Yeah, let's play the engine!

@gamerbum: I played and love both. They are different games with different styles. Crash Team Racing is also a terrific racer with powerups.

@Mogan: I'm playing it now; still after 16 years.

The original Mario Kart and the one for GBA are great time fillers too.

They used a random phrase generator set to emo mode for the video texts.

"I am Setsuna" feels a lot like "Tales of Symphonia".

Exactly.

@Cashmoney007: Even though combat in ME1 can feel stiffer than 2 and 3's, the game is the most interactive of the three: the galaxy can in fact be explored by landing on planets and finding things around or going after pirates. I think BW tried to bring this sense of adventure back with Andromeda.

I haven't played it yet because my PC is... sad and I can't afford a new one (I'm still missing DA:I) but as soon as I can get newer hardware, I'll give it try. I'm positive I'll enjoy it.

The stiff facial animations are distracting though, such mistake can't be overlooked specially for a game that's character and dialogue driven.

Regarding patches, even Nintendo is doing it now with its AAA titles; sadly, there seems to be no way back from this: videogames will keep being released unfinished.

The developers' world has gone completely alpha now, or even beta.

@Cashmoney007: The series lost the main writer after ME2 and it spiralled down since then.

ME3 has very good gameplay though extremely linear but the plot is a mess.
