So they couldn't pull a Mass Effect and just give your characters a higher starting level and some resources? Also why couldn't they give you your materia from the first one? Even if it's still at lvl. 1. It doesn't make sense that all your materia gone all of a sudden but you have a random summon materia. I imagine it'll be ignored completely or some bullshit explanation like Yuffie steals it out of the blue.

Throughout the series he meets the new queen of his old country and they have a sort of burgeoning romantic thing. It’s not as obvious as Wing or Iron Blooded Orphans but it practically ends the same with nothing romantic actually happening just a sociopath with a hearto
I’ve always loved Gundam Wing and it’s OVA Endless Waltz. Gundam 00 has some good themes to it about child soldiers, corruption of ideals and controlling energy resources. They both have a side love story of women trying to convince indoctrinated sociopaths they have a heart. I’d avoid Gundam Seed as it has a subplot of sexual manipulation which is kinda hard to sit through.
Forget the Renegade route, Paragon route is supposedly the canon route and Paragon Shepard is willing to work with the civilian government to stop the Reapers. The problem is the civilian government refuses to actually do anything until the Reapers are rampaging through the galaxy.
Shepard provides evidence to them in the first game and the government grounds them so they can't stop Saren before he attacks the Citadel. This causes a great loss of life that was unnecessary and almost dooms the entire galaxy in the process. It's sheer idiocy.
It's not a disdain for democracy. It's a disdain for the attitude of self-serving politicians. They don't want to rock the boat to save their own careers. All Shepard is asking is that they take the threat seriously and invest in weapons research. Even if they didn't believe in the Reapers, they believed the Geth built Sovereign and it wiped out a good chunk of their forces. Nothing was stopping the Geth from building more Sovereign-class vessels and finishing the job so there was no reason for the Council not to invest in weapons to counter such a threat. They just simply refused. They refused to protect innocent civilians from a major threat.
If you want a better comparison, it's like the fight with climate change. Governments refused to acknowledge it and do anything no matter how much evidence was shown to them. Do you hate democracy because politicians are self-serving morons or do you just simply hate the politicians who won't do anything about a problem?
I never understood this. Shouldn't it be Winnie the Pooh who is offended from being comparing to a genocidal dictator like Xi Jinping and not the other way around? You'd think Xi would want to be seen as lovable and likeable by the world instead of as a complete (choose your local insult)
@locke90: If that's the actual description for Man Standing, I will have to agree with the first guy that it's meant to be a parody game, not a knock off.
They correctly spell everything but Hevy Reyn and the tone is clearly comedic. The two games (Heavy Rain and Death Stranding) aren't even made by the same people. This is a deliberate parody of knock off games.
While I do like DeathStroke I think he could have picked a better villain. Suicide Squad opened up the possibility of villains with actual powers. Why not have a movie where Clayface is the villain? His ability to impersonate anyone and hide in plain sight could be a great foil to the kryptonite spear wielding Batfleck. A test of the bat's detective skills and his physical prowess.
