I'm looking for another online shooter for my collection but I just can't decide, I have both Crysis' and I have CoD4 and CoD: WaW on my 360 so any reccomendations please?
I would choose Fallout 3 instead of either TES4 or STALKER Fallout is amazingly immersive, has very thorough side quests that flush out the backstory and it's in a post apocalyptic wasteland! what's not to like......the gore may be a bit too much but fallout also has waaaaaay more gameplay choices plus the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and perk system really puts its RPG side into effect. AND combat is amazing, its best played first person the entire game but VATS is such a cool feature and really makes the game tactical and exciting. Plus there's guns:lol:
I would say STALKER because even though Oblivion has a wide open world it just isn't really that immersive. I beat everything got all the high end armor and weapons and have like hundreds of thousands of gold but it seemed to me that beating oblivion was a chore since monsters level up with you and you're always vastly outnumbered(I played on hardest difficulty) the combat is boring, I liked the magic system though, with the whole create spells and imbue weapons with spells. I played the entire game in stealth mode, i maxed out my blade and sneak then got a super cheap sword and snuck through everywhere backstabbing everyone in one hit. Blah~_~
It is set to high performance and I am not using SLI I have a 9800m gtx, I did everything you said and it is still lagging but I am still getting the hard disc defragmented.
Thanks for all the info man I have the latest driver for my GPU and I have the latest DirectX and the latest Crysis patch. I don't have CCleaner so I will try that and I am defragging my Hard Drive and running Spybot Search And Destroy. Thanks for the help!
