@GameFan1983 Technically, Crysis 3 is top dog of the Crysis games. I think there's more to how a game looks than just how many bazigapixels it's pushing. Art direction means quite a bit, and it's a very personal thing that each and every one of us views differently.
I though Crysis 2 looked like crap compared to 1, even though technically it was doing superior graphical tricks. The look of a tropical paradise is just so much more appealing to me than the urban jungle, no matter what kind of aa, or ambient occlusion this, specular mapping that, you throw at it.
All just an opinion. Maybe that's one of the reasons the 1st game still gets so much love from gamers? Many just inherently like tropical over urban?
LOL...yeah, I'm with you guys here. Yerli is blaming everything except the fact that he made a rather bland game, but a killer tech demo. Just finished it yesterday and was very disappointed in the shaved campaign time. It's hours less than Crysis 2. Crysis 1 is still my fave, hands down.
I will commend Crytek on at least giving us PC gamers some love, instead of the turd outta the box, Crysis 2. Lots of graphical options, and full dx11 support on day one. Still, I'm hoping that Maldo, of maldohd Crysis 2 fame, makes some mods for Crysis 3.
Wow! I played Frontier on my old Amiga 3000. Great, open ended, space sandbox game. Would love to see this get released. Happy to see that Chris Roberts is jumping back in too. Loved the Wing Commander series back in the day. Lots of good memories. Far too many cheap, short, shallow fps's around these days. This is a real nice change of pace.
I sure hope this game is selling well for CDProjekt. They deserve some ca$h for all the hard work they put into this game, and for not selling out us pc gamers. Support these guys!!!!
I thought Crysis 2 was fun. Still like the first one better. About the only real plus, that I can see for us pc gamers, is that Crytek released a very optimized version of their latest game engine. Cryengine 2 was poorly optimized, hence one of the reasons Crysis took so much horsepower to run. That's also proven by the fact that Crysis Warhead looks a bit better than Crysis, but yet runs slightly better due to optimizations Crytek employed in making it. They even admitted to that in other past interviews.

The Combine: organized and powerful, they're bent on sucking our planet dry of every resource, and they could care less how many of us they kill or mutate, to meet their ends. Kill 'em all!!!!
