Big surprise here, another garbage unreal engine game, chock full of screen tearing and framerate issues. This is kinda like every other unreal engine game. Glad I didn't buy this poorly coded crap. Too bad because the game itself is fun, the performance on the other hand is amateurish all the way through. I can't stand to play a beautifully v synced console game and then play a game that has screen tearing. It all comes down to lazy devs and a crappy engine powering the game and I won't reward that kind of incompetence.

Screen tearing NO Texture loading/pop in YESblaze_adeel

I can deal with that, screen tearing is a game breaker for me though, something about it just kills the experience. It makes the game feel very unfinished to me.

To those who know what screen tearing is, does Borderlands 2 suffer from it? The first game had a ton of it, just wondering if Gearbox had the resources to fix it for the sequel.

Artorias of the Abyss comes to consoles on October 24! I can't wait. This DLC is going to make this holiday cheaper for me as I'll be too busy with Dark Souls to care about other stuff.:)

Sounds like that date only applies to Europe -- at least according to GameSpot, at any rate.

I can't wait for this, Dark Souls is my favorite game this gen along with Demon's Souls.

I've been playing Demon Souls lately. I think Dark Souls will be my next purchase. The idea of PvP Demon Souls-like gameplay sounds pretty sweet.BranKetra

How could you possibly own Demon's Souls, enjoy the PVP, and not own Dark Souls? You're really missing out, the covenants in Dark Souls add so much to the PVP, it's so awesome.

You should be playing Demon's Souls instead of that garbage.

I haven't beaten Dark Souls despite owning it from day one, so I can't really judge (I was a bit put off waiting for the Prepare to Die stuff to make it to consoles, but I might go ahead and buy that for NG+).

I would say that I beat Demon's Souls twice and I think it was a little more polished and balanced, Dark Souls is more ambitious and bigger, which I like, but Demon's Souls was a bit more "fair" in its difficulty and didn't have the slowdowns and framerate dips that Dark Souls had. On the other hand, Dark Souls is a MUCH bigger experience, with way more little secrets and hidden areas, plus a higher level of customization and super awesome covenant system.

I guess I'd say I prefer Demon's Souls, just a bit.

Personally, I prefer Demon's Souls more because it didn't have the slow downs, it was a more challenging game imo, and it just felt more polished imo. However, choosing between the two is hard because they are both fantastic games.

Well said sir, I have beaten Dark Souls 3 times and Demon's Souls 3 times as well and I agree with you. I do like the fact that Dark Souls has about double the loot and double the monsters, that's a big advantage. In my opinion, any serious RPG player needs to own both, they can be purchased for less than 50$.
