It's like most MMOs out there, everytime they have an update, you get a lot of instability until pacthes are applied. To have this kind of problem even in the single-player campaign is just nonsense...
@ecilam I understand your point but when that desire to control hampers the freedom of gamers to play when they want I say the developer is doing it wrong.I think Blizzard has the people and the resources to come up with something better than this all-the-time-online BS.
"You're required to be online at all times, even if you're playing SOLO, so if you don't have a reliable internet connection, you simply cannot play Diablo III."
One of the stupidiest anti-piracy features I've seen in years of gaming, solo gaming should never require internet connection. This is the main reason I'm not going to buy the game.
I can't imagine the frustation people feel when coming home at night, after a long day of work, and realize they're unable to play simply because the internet is down or the SERVERS are in maintence.
SERVERS... SOLO gaming... that just doesn't fit...
@reishid I have to agree with you, nothing would make me more angry! It's just so stupid to need a internet connection to play a single-player game, it's like playing a MMO... alone...
