I could have sworn it was someone saying the trailer sucked because they were going back to MKII style. That clearly says "sick" though. Must have been heavy on the industrial adhesives that morning.
My choice of character isn't so superficial as "Whatever race and gender I AM!!". Isn't that the whole point of all the insistence of equality?... that we're supposed to be more than our exterior? Do people not relate to personality or style? I see more to characters than what reproductive organs they have or what country they were born in. I don't say "HEY, I relate to THIS character because... ITS A DUDE YEEEEEAH!!!" But whatever people need to feel included. But once they're added then comes the inevitable outrage about HOW they're represented.
Last gen the main points of concern were "How many hours is the campaign?" and then frowns for "next-gen gray!" and mentions of added multi-player. Now the questions are "Is there huge character diversity? Is it 1080p? Is it 60fps? Why THIS and THAT?" Interview DONE!
@t_c_o_m @GamerX-treme Sub-Zero killed Scorpion before the first game even began. Scorpions just spent his whole life trying to get that revenge. Meanwhile Sub was in MK3 and Scorpion wasn't until UMK3 where Sub got a 2nd version added. Sub got his own game. And in MK9 he had a Cyber version.
@simonbelmont2 @Igal-Ze Just sounded like he said "When you're game is known for a particular aspect, using it isn't stylish. Be more unlike yourself and stop relying on the things that made this game what it is." but maybe I misinterpreted it.
@wrestlemaniaw Seeing how it'll be 4 years since the last MK and they re-build the game every time, I'd say it's special. AC is cool but I'd say with it's frequency and structure it's probably a larger contender for the "not special" award at this point.
@chev93489 As long as Guest characters are DLC and I never have to add them to my roster, have at it. Or give me the "Get Outta Here!" DLC pack that lets me remove them.
