I am loving this game, but I do have a serious gripe; can someone PLEASE patch the AI so your followers stop running around like hyperactive children? Its so annoying when one of them rams you off a cliff, or gets stuck trying to run into a wall...
@bloodybonesbr Definitely worth buying. Metacritic is broken... I only read user reviews for a laugh. I'm at 50 hours right now, and just killed my first dragon. I tend to spend a lot of time exploring rather than fighting. This game is HUGE.
@fernanvic No kidding. Head on over to Metacritic and see how many users scored it '0'. It is so utterly absurd it actually made me laugh. I give Metacritic User Reviews a big fat ZERO.
A few too many non-intuitive 'push the button' puzzles, but otherwise a grand adventure. Eventually, you and your party will be total badasses after enduring hours of humiliating punishment at the hands of rats and walking mushrooms. The first time I was able to take down one of those annoying elementals I fist pumped the air...
I never worry about an individual's personal score. Reviews are just a tool to help you make a somewhat informed decision as to whether said game is worth investing your hard-earned quatloos. As long as there seems to be a general consensus for a game's playability/worthiness (or lack thereof) from both professional reviewers AND players, I can at least gain some measure of confidence before taking the plunge.
It bears mentioning that I have totally enjoyed some games that got thrashed in reviews, and others with glowing scores made me break my controller/mouse. I do not fear your 6.
