LOL! The first 'Final Fantasy' was supposed to be the last chance for the studio to have a successful title, and now they are on number 14. Not too shabby IMHO. If they can fix it, great. If not, no loss as there are a sht-load of great games out there ie: SLEEPING DOGS!!!!!
Is this particular car model 'lore friendly?' Will it run off, attack your enemies and die just like the horses? Will it work with the 'horse combat' (way cool...slice and dice from a convertible)? Does it run on Nord mead instead of gas, since I'm pretty sure they don't have oil refineries in Skyrim? Can you store all your favourite possessions in the trunk, and then lose everything due to a glitch? Most importantly, will you be able to PICK UP HOOKERS and 'park' for some 'hot coffee'?
@droned: Thanks for the YouTube link. Jeremy lays it all out pretty well, I think. EA , Bioware et al can certainly continue to disregard the passionate opinion of disappointed fans as a 'handful of goading voices', and censor dissenting posts on the forums. That's fine, I will be keeping my money in my wallet. And that, dear readers, is the ONLY argument EA will listen to.
I detest the corporate trend of withholding content that should have been part of the game originally, then selling it back to us later, or making us pay to unlock content already present. At best it's ethically suspect, at worst it is an outright con job. Eventually this results in a horde of angry consumers spewing vitriolic comments at industry reps. I don't condone the vicious thrashing certain people have received, but I do understand the anger behind it. Infuriating your customer base is a terrible business model.
I never finished Witcher 1...lost interest halfway through. On the other hand, I played Witcher 2 non stop and plan to replay using different choices. I hope they make Witcher 3 soon! Can't wait for SKYRIM!!!
