@artaeun @Np_Pro Why do people still complain about this in Spider-Man games when Spider-Man has been swinging from thin air since his conception? It's an actual design choice. Having realistic swinging feels really wonky and breaks up the speed in a game that's supposed to be all about momentum (Just my opinion.) I personally can't stand it when they have realistic web swinging.

And I can totally understand why people would want this. But on the other hand, I don't understand why anybody would care about something not being realistic in a property that has never been grounded in reality. It seems trivial to me. Just my two cents. I'm not trying to bash anyone.

My favorite thing about this game so far is that they don't have "THE MOVIE GAME!!!!" slapped on the box art. To me that translates that they just want to make a good game, and not a broken cash grab. It's still totally a movie game, but not in the traditional sense, I guess. It seems to be more along the lines of GoldenEye in terms of movie game quality.

I love it when games have a minimal HUD. It's really distracting, watching a health bar, or a mini map, or whatever. It feels more like you're playing the interface instead of the game. I always turn everything off if I can. The way this game handles everything is amazing. I was fully immersed in that footage, even with those two talking. Well done.

I adore Adam West! Though not because he was Batman. I just think he's a really awesome dude. May you live at least 20 more years, Mr. West.

@RE4GreatesGame

If you can't come up with any credible reasons to back up your opinions, don't bother posting anything. You just come off as a moronic fanboy.

The fact is, Uncharted borrowed extensively from several different properties, including Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones. ESPECIALLY Indiana Jones, right down to the snarky, treasure hunting protagonist. Does that make it a bad game? Absolutely not. That's how new IPs are created: You borrow lots of ideas and make something unique. But completely ignoring the fact that Uncharted was inspired by Tomb Raider just shows that you're incapable of processing simple thought patterns. One of the main complaints from critics was how derivative it was of other games. The review right here on Gamespot summed it up as "Tomb Raider meets Gears of War," so saying that "UC has NEVER been compared to TR" is completely false.

I also like how you seem to think that every PS3 gamer loves Uncharted, and that lowly Xbox gamers envy it: " I can GUARANTEE that the majority of fans who are supporting Tomb Raider will be Xbox 360 gamers. Why? Well they don't have Uncharted." Fun fact: Not every PS3 gamer likes Uncharted. In fact, a lot of them absolutely hate it. And there's nothing wrong with that, because (most of the time) the people who hate it have credible reasons for disliking it. And at least most of them don't prowl the internet, searching for articles about Uncharted, with the intent of trolling fans of the series (like you just did with Tomb Raider.)

If you were really a fan Uncharted, you would have respect for Tomb Raider and everything that it's done for adventure games, because, frankly, the series that's obviously so precious to you wouldn't exist if it weren't for Tomb Raider coming along. And if you were really a fan of adventure games, you would appreciate the cues that the new Tomb Raider is taking from Uncharted and enjoy that, too. That's how this industry grows: people borrow ideas from one another and put they're own special spin on it. Uncharted borrowed from Tomb Raider, and now Tomb Raider is borrowing from Uncharted. That's a GOOD thing.

Now, if you don't want to have a mature conversation with the fine people on this comment board, then go back to your PS3 and gawk at pictures of Nathan Drake, because God knows that's the public image that you've painted of yourself. Well done, pretentious fanboy. *applause*

I'd rather have a new Painkiller game from People Can Fly than another Gears game. Man, I got kind of excited just thinking about that. I doubt it'll happen, though. -sigh-

Looks more like an actual expansion pack straight from the days of yore, not just some cheap add-on. Obviously, I won't know until I play it, but this trailer has gotten me pretty excited. Well done, Bethesda.
