@CharlesBurns @GamerCents I apologize for making a sweeping generalization - something I chided someone for doing in the same breath. That was unfair and uncalled-for. Though, I wouldn't assume us (men) to be so daft as to be instantaneously manipulated by a single picture; just by over-exposure to a repeated idea (see a lot of female characters in video games).

You're correct, evolutionary biology does change how we view potential mates. Originally it was about strength and whether someone was able to reproduce. Now it leans towards either looks or intelligence being passed down to our offspring. However, that "looks" portion is easily manipulated in the current state of humanity as we are given to subjecting ourselves to pop-culture and media-induced mindsets.

Paris Hilton is a thin person who many would find attractive. I don't because she represents herself as only her looks and the personality of cardboard. In addition, I know a great deal of women that don't want her in pop-culture because she represents the idea of a woman being nothing more than an image of beauty, something that will fade in time.

@chaos-commander @GamerCents @CharlesBurns Like in Tomb Raider, where she had realistic proportions and a proper character development, and realistic attire. But wait, I knew a lot of guys that voiced how it sucked that they "ruined" Tomb Raider by making her less sexy.
A woman wrote Lara for that version.

@AngelsongCA @GamerCents Boy that term "bully" gets thrown around a lot lately.

I remember bully's being people that sought to silence or suppress the weak and unpopular, diminishing them because they weren't the normal viewpoint of "cool".
I didn't know that it evolved into bully's being people who voiced their dissatisfaction with something.

@CharlesBurns @GamerCents How about women? That could be a good start.

@MrKotick @GamerCents @CharlesBurns Yes, but this isn't about how a woman decides to dress, but how a man decided to design a woman and dress her. It's a representative of a man showing off his ideal woman. Not a lot of women are key on that.
Sure, it's just a guy's preference, but when it keeps getting eaten up by guys that this is an "iconic" female, then men are going to keep thinking that a hot woman is this representation; a representation of a man's ideal not what a woman would want to viewed for.

However, this is my take on it. I'm neither right nor wrong. I'm just stating how I view it.

@AngelsongCA @GamerCents So, every person should be silent forever unless we're all in agreement? No more debates or anything of the like, ever?

@CharlesBurns How about those that just understand that there are a lot of women out there that would wish to not be represented in video games by character designs like Quiet's?

Your statement seems pretty blanketing on those who speak out.

Honestly, statements like yours seem to be representative of those men who seem to have more respect for the sexualized video game females than the real-world females that are feeling disrespected by representations like this one.

@AngelsongCA @GamerCents I see your viewpoint, but have you stopped to consider his? Why would he come to that decision or why is it you think that yours is so correct that the entirety of 343 Studios should be boycotted?

@AngelsongCA @GamerCents So, by that thought, you should mind your own business and stay off internet forums because this isn't concerning you directly. Correct?
