@wa128 @natalieyan no, a 500 dollar PC will absolutely fail at any setting with watch dog. and PS4 version is at least comparable with high/ultra setting with slightly inferior AA method, which require a $800 desktop if you built it yourself.
@nyran125tk @GameFan1983 I didn't try the lowest setting which is what minimum requirement is there for. so the minimum requriment may still be legit(for me even attempt to play on low is an insult)
@meedokicky @GameFan1983 WD was in development before Manlet's R&D process in AMD(meaning the game wasn't targeted AMD's API as prime development enviorment) so logical assumption would say not at all. 2g Vram should be fine as long as you don't put texture on ultra
played it ahead of time on PC(just to get a pre-view of my pre-order) the system requirement is gonna make 99% PC gamers cry. if you think Assassin's creed4's requirement was high, then you have seen nothing yet. played on 2 rigs, one being super high end, 2x690, i7-3970x OCed to 4.8ghz, 32G Ram, and other middle end. I7-950, 6G ram, GTX770. the ultra end system runs the game fine at highest setting, anywhere from 35-92fps at 1080p, but the mid end rig got crushed completely even at middle setting(game looks pretty good)
If you are a PC gamer and you expect to have flawless experience on PC, you will need 1. at least 8G ram, the game goes up to as high as 12G usage in highest setting, even at medium setting, still wreck a good 8G 2. a very decent CPU, at least a I7, the game has alot destructible objects and real time area light/shadow accumulation 3. if you fit previous 2 requirement and want to max the game out, prepare a video card with at least 4G V Ram the point is, the game exercise every part your PC to the max
a very good game none the less, just not GTA V amazing in term of minute to minute details, such as vehicle handling, audio, street citizen's behavior etc. a solid 8.8+ in my book.
I swear if I recorded only PS4 version, change the brightness a little bit to 3 different settings, and mark each one as "xbox1", "ps4" and "PC" version then post it on GS, and you will still have fanbois from each platform battle each other to death claiming "their version" has "superior texture" and "lighting" or things beyond their comprehension
no problem, to get an 8.5+ from this author, you will have to throw in a mini map, offer a 2 hrs tutorial where you can't die, add one (or maybe 3) blond polygon chick to tell the protagonist that he's the one and only, the last hope of humanity, then feature some in game romance. tone down combat and AI to the point you only have to smash one button to kill truck load of giant dragons while doing fancy ninja flips when wearing plate armor.
@LordCrash88 loL!! exactly, waste your time on a game you don't like and tell the world how much you care, point being, when I think the wticher 1.2. play like horse dump, I finished them and forgot about them, as much as I laughed at 8.5 score they got, but I don't go on TW forum crying about it.
