@sirchick GTA 5 cost around 200 million to make; its a established franchise that will move numbers. You don't put that type of money into a new IP because their is the risk that it will sink your company.
@sirchick @GOGOHeadray @lonesamurai1 But that doesn't fit into the context of what the OP was stating; watchdogs is a very solid game. To compare it to Simcity 2013 and BF4 both of which barely worked at launch is flat out disengious. For your COD example; COD is a another example of a solid game which appeals to its fanbase just because it does so doesn't make it a bad game and certainly can't be compared with purely broken games...
And what do you mean by digital ordering? as I am assuming they are counting physical copies in those numbers as well.
@sirchick @GOGOHeadray @lonesamurai1 How is it meaningless? People bought the game which is in the end all that matters; specially considering that it was a new Ip which in terms of sells numbers were going against mroe established ones ( ASScreed, Far cry, etc.). Also the reviews for it have been pretty solid all across the board.
@ebony_scythe @greaseman1985 @Sky_Stifler Agreed the police in this game are vicious. In GTA 5 all you had to do was go in a straight direction with a fast car and brute force outrun them. In this game that doesn't really work its better to hide in your car on a side street.
