Nintendo hasn't made squat for a controller for hardcore gaming/hardcore shooters so saying this is the best controller they have made for hardcore doesn't mean much. Maybe if he said it was the FIRST controller they have made with two thumbsticks, it would mean more.
Doesn't change my belief that the word hardcore should not be attributed to anything Nintendo. Nor should i treally be attributed to the console controllers ever.

Forgetting for a moment the unwieldy look of the WiiU controller or the fact that one has to divide focus between the main screen and the controller display; thumbsticks just plain suck. Replace the damn thumbsticks with trackballs...much better.
I should add that the $5 price isn't bad though. If the challenge maps are actually different from the maps in the single player campaign and don't feel thrown together or just rehashed from the original game then I can't say it's a bad buy at $5, just not really the kind of thing I usually pay more money for beyond the full retail price of the game.
I'm all about the AC1, it was the 2nd MMO I played after a brief stint in Everquest. PLayed AC1 for years. AC2 was a disappointment to me pretty much all around. It was prettier to look at it but gameplay wise I didn't like nearly as much sa AC1.
Rest assured that if Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft don't stop doing business with Foxconn then Foxconn will just wait until the heat is off them and do shit like this all over again.
