@bennypeepants Intel E8500, 4gb hyperX RAM, ATi 5870, Old rig 600$ 4-5 years old, finished playing "Bioshock Infinite" on HIGH settings. Laged, i shit you not, 3 or 4 times during opening of a new level.
Ok one quetion, do you have to write five on top of roman numeral 5(V). Gives off an impresion that kids who should not play the game in the first place are playing it. You learn roman numerals in first or second grade so who are they writing it for??? ~end of rant~
Just wait for Crysis 2 to come out, soon enough you will see some improvements in all games. It just a competition to them. Why make better graphics when they are currently the "best". They have excellent sales either way. Look at HL2 Source Engine, still kicking and basically its outdated heavily. Its the gameplay that makes a game epic in the end. I say: "F***K graphics, bring me insane intense intelligent gameplay. If you wanna thumb me down, ask yourself this: "What game, and why, you loved so much that it became my guide for all future game comprising". Was it graphics, i highly doubt that. Peace!
The most fun games I ever played were the games where enemies detect my behavior. Example: "Bioshock - Enemies would adapt their fighting technique based on my currently equipped weapon and health (on hard), i remember being soooo much fun". Bosses in Metal Gear wow, maybe not that aware of my condition, have very lifelike behavior it just makes it so much fun to play. I always wished for a game that when you kill an enemy its a success to outsmart him and not just put few kilos of led in him. I mean it gets repetitive and boring pretty soon (~cough~ Painkiller). BTW Crisis have pretty decent AI but the map designers screwed it up, i know i created few maps, if they took someone to work just on the AI it would be different story, its a damn good engine\sandbox. Oh and buddy AI, for me, was the greatest in Rainbow Six Las Vegas. Hope the new Crysis will have upgraded AI.
