MGS4 was awesome but like all of the games in the series they are hard. But the series is one of the best games I have ever played. If MGS 5 is anything like them this will set the mark. If Kojima stays true to Snake then MGS maybe a real seller especially with its entry on the Xbox. If it was bundled with the PS4 what a buy. Will really keep my eyes glued to more news on MGS V.

Multiplayer for some games are a added benefit like the Halo and CoD series being among the most successful. But not all multiplayer games stay around very long. A lot of gamers don't even get into multiplayer but play games simply for it's single player. Gamers keep asking for more and at times just just get negative for the sake of being negative. Xcom is no graphic break through but sold well and didn't hear the publishers cry about not selling enough.

TR 3.4 million discs sold at $60 a unit is no small change. That's before there's a price drop and it not Xmas time. No digital income included, why not? Square Enix made some profit here. No additional single downloads ( DLC), mistake. Multiplayer DLC with multiplayer only being OK. MAYBE expectations too early to call.

10 triple A titles a year is a lot of games. If you brought em all that's over $600. That's some hit to the pocketbook. Mobile gaming or casual gaming has it's place on the go or during work breaks but nowhere can they match console or PC gaming. There is a market for both. Being able to play a demo helps to narrow down which games to buy, but demos are still demos. As developers look for their financial successes, it is often the quality of the games they produce which leads gamers to become loyal fans of their games.

The gender of the lead character makes little difference to me also. Sometimes a female character can bring emotions to the story that would be hard to achieve thru a male character. It's the story, game play, and tight controls that lead to a suburb game for me. What difference does it make if its a beautiful girl or super muscle male in the lead role. Both characters are overly depicted in their physical form. Many times the female chachacter steals the show or draws the gamer into the game more. Developers for the most part are males who need to put more females on their staff to develop these female roles more in their game play. In many respects the gender gap is closing and for good reason.

It shows what a price drop can do for a game.

Bioware needs to create a new ME series where the storyline flows to sum believable end. Would like to meet and talk to the other main characters without running around the ship all the time. Would like to find upgradable salvage in the game play itself, not roaming the universe in a tiny ship like some mini game. There a lot to get right this time around if you're going to keep this loyal fan base.

Glad to see developers take more of an interest in supporting Apple products. Any gamer knows that games on mobile devices can't come close to console or computer gaming.

BioShock is one of those unique series that produces a uniqueness gamers rarely experience. It's different yet contains elements similar to other shooters. Looking forward to seeing how the series moves forward in the next installment of the franchise. Although the story telling is good hope they improve upon it and leave the gamer with a thirst for more.
