I admit, I bought this game a few days after launch. I loved how it looked like a model city brought to life. This magic was quickly crushed though when I realized just how small the build areas are, and that R/C/I is pretty much not connected in any meaningful way. Offline mode is a good start, but honestly the build areas are my biggest issue, and the reason why I only played for two weeks after launch.
@jameson425 @Figsarefatal I'm not arguing console vs pc, I just hate the gimmicks they are investing money in. That money could have been poured into better hardware.
Bleh, this is what drove me away from the consoles to begin with. Just give me a damn controller / keyboard & mouse and put all your resources into story, gameplay and graphics. Enough with the crappy gimmicks.
Still not very excited about this game. You have to know there is some catch to this crap. Popcap gets bought out by EA and their first new game is a "live service" aka nickel and dime machine. Yea go F yourselves.
Knew it was going to be bad after I read they fired the original creator, but man. This has to be some kind of superpower right? To consistently ruin each and every franchise they get their greedy little fingers on.
