@Stiler: Players still have well over three months to spend the money they have left on something in-game though. If they can't find something to spend it on during that time, they probably never would have used whatever funds were left in their accounts anyway.
I doubt anyone has hundreds of dollars left to spend so it's probably not a big deal to anyone.
That said, I agree a small thank you gift would have been a nice gesture on their part.
@FollowY0urBliss If you bothered to pay any kind of attention you would have noticed it says the update just went live today. That's not a month ago. Only yesterday MS points were still in use.
So, does the game end at some point with a proper conclusion and closing credits or is it just exploration until you've basically had enough? It would seem tedious to go through all that for nothing to really happen.
Thank you Cam for another very insightful and intelligent capsule this week. This is rapidly becoming my favourite thing to watch on GameSpot.
As for zombies, I'm personally quite tired of them since they rarely offer much originality from game to game. That's like killing the same beast over and over again. The one big exception to that is the incredibly solid story elements and characters of The Walking Dead, which does actually portray zombies in a whole new light compared to all other titles. More games should follow this path!
@dave1590 @ElusiveOne Oh, I see. Usually the publishers are the ones that come up with these shenanigans, not the stores that actually sell them, so that's why I didn't immediately see the connection. I'm still not sure GAME is directly responsible for these outrageous bundles though.
@00J @MeestaPleasta GTA4 has sold over 25 million copies and SR3 has sold approximately 4 million. So at least 21 million bought one and not the other.
