I wonder what will happen with the Virtual Console games I downloaded for the Wii. I doubt Nintendo would allow them to transfer over to the Wii U.

I don't get it. Weren't you always able to just use a credit card over XBL anyway?
Either way, I must be the only person left on the planet that actually liked the points card. I don't like having credit card info online as it is, especially flitting around in the less-than-secure video game world. Also, it curbed impulse buys.
Meh, whatever I guess.
I'm not sure if it's considered a JRPG but I would KILL for a new Dragonquest game along the same lines of DQ8 only updated for this gen.
IGN "greatest Zelda game."
I don't think so. Basically Zelda exists in two, completely different forms. The LTTP form, and the 3D form. None of the games, including this game should be considered better than the Masterpiece of A Link to the Past, especially if it is in the other category.
My thing is, when a new system comesout, I want it to physically take the place of the last one (a big problem I had with the PS3).
In other words, when the next XBOX comes out, I wat everything that I invested in on the 360 to carry over to it. I don't want to havemultple XBOXs stacked up beneath my television. We should be at a point technology-wise where this should be no problem.
It worries me because I have a lot of XBLA games. I have invested a lot of money in them. I don't see how MS will let me redownload all of them onto a new console, thus duplicating the actual number of titles I have (basically x2).
The only other option would be to just have the HD move overto the new console.
Right?
It had better...
- allow you to redownload all your XBLA titles onto the new console for FREE
- allow you to keep your gamertag/score
- be backwards compatible
There are others, but these are the absolute most important elements IMO.
For the sake of cleaning up achievements.
I have 1 achievement to get for both Puzzle Quest and Golden Axe in order to 100% them. I'm picturing a site where you can put your gamertag as "available" to play games like this.
I tried leaving posts in these specific games forums here, but it doesn't seem ike anyone looks at these games anymore.
I'll probably wait a while for a price drop or two, and to see how it holds up with RROD...
It had better have...
- full backwards compatibility of XBOX and 360 discs...I'm not rebuying games even if t hey do remake them in HD.
- the ability to redownload all my XBLA games for free
- keep my profile from 360
I'm not sure if it will be just a matter of plugging in my Elite harddrive or not...
