The coke was still closed but it wasn't sealed tightly. When I cracked the bottle open, I heard no fizz. I took a drink but immedietly spit it out because it was so flat. Even though I spit it out, I swallowed a little bit.
Could there be some bacteria in it? I'm assuming it was on the store shelf for a few days and even during shipping unsealed.
But when you think about it, holding back content and selling it as DLC later on is the same thing. Or, like Super SFIV, selling a retail version for $40 is also bad. AKSYS with BlazBlue was a lot worse.
But it does feel crummy when you know the content is on the disc and you have to pay an additional $20 to play it. It's worse for 360 owners.
As a fan, the content is worth it...but disappointing at the same time. Better to wait a but longer and get the game at $29.99-$39.99 and then buy the additional DLC. Then you'll feel better about it and less ripped off.
I used to have this problem but not anymore. Haven't picked up any Mario spin-offs lately or Resident Evil Racoon City. If a game stinks, I don't care if it's my favorite series of all-time, I won't waste money anymore.
I know it's rolling out today. Quick question. Is it the new dashboard preview we saw at E3 where the categories are changed around, or is it just a minor update to the current dashboard?
The game is pretty good. I didn't expect to enjoy the single player this much. Multiplayer is also pretty good but I wish there was more maps. I know there will be DLC but I wish there was more maps out of the box.
Other than that, it's a very good game. It's not perfect and can be frustrating. But as a TPS, it's one of the best of this gen, one of the more enjoyable TPSs I played.
I think the game is kind of being reviewed unfairly. It sucks but the comparisons to Skyrim and Dark Souls will have some influence to the reviews. If you look passed all that I think Dragon's Dogma is a good game on its own right. My only worry is that the game would feel unfinished. Some could be held back content for DLC. This could make DD look and feel more like a experiment rather than a full-on RPG with a living breathing world. The reviews might reflect that.
