[QUOTE="sexy_luigi"]what famous professor is behing this game? what type of research have they done for it?Kev_Unreal
Well, we don't need a famous professor but your right. We need to know if they did at least research and studies for HotBrain.
Brain Age (as well as Hot Brain) may not, in fact, improve anything, but rather keep the gears lubricated as this interesting article shows:
http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/06_39/b4002100.htm?chan=tc&campaign_id=rss_tech.rss091506a
Studies that video games improve hand-eye coordination and visual attention have been around for years. A few interesting articles on video games and their potential benefits:

Brain Age and all of the clones really in the end may not be any better than just working with your brain each day attempting to learn something new. Puzzle games may help you think faster by accessing a situation faster in that you can quickly devise a solution. I don't think this is even remotely a bad thing for Sony or the PSP as people seem to make it out to be, but rather a potential new wave of games that may give the industry a much needed PR boost in light of violent games like Halo and GTA.
[QUOTE="redCloudJ7"][QUOTE="Nintendo_Man"]The Mario Bros movie was cool.
Street Fighter was bad, Mortal Kombat was horrific.
WickeeKing
Lol. How old are you? It really doesn't matter. You've lost all credibility fanboy (If you had any). None of these movies were "cool".
Correction - Street Fighter is very cool. Why? Because it has Jean Claude Van Damme. And Jean Claude makes any movie cool. AND, while this movie may not have been intentionally funny - it was hilarious. I love C grade action movies.
Mario Bros was just crap.
Wrong, Jean-Claude is not Chuck Norris. Street Fighter was one of the worst video game based movies ever made. Super Mario Bros. had some pretty funny moments in it like the fat black chick digging on Mario. That was classic. Of course, if you want to mention really bad video game movies don't forget Bloodrayne, Alone in the Dark, Mortal Kombat 2, and Resident Evil 2.
For all we know the Wii may have already passed the 360 since Microsoft's real numbers are less than they have advertised .mercclass
OMG, that's the most scathing, anti-360 article I've ever read. Rarely do you see any anti-360 press these days, but after reading that it makes me wonder how long the 360 will actually last. If the Wii does surpass the 360, which it's likely to do, these forums will become a disaster zone.
[QUOTE="DrHyde"][QUOTE="superkoolstud"]
I don't think it matters cuz neither can play more then 2 hours of a movie before the battery dies and thats at full charge.superkoolstud
Wow, you're full of it. My PSP pulls roughly 8-10 hours with the lowest brightness setting which is more than enough to see videos and movies.
Um I have a PSP. You can easily get 8-10 hours of gaming, but when it comes to movie watching 2 hours straight is about all it can handle. UMDs have been tested with 2 full movie plays and some change and memory stick gets even more than that. Once again, you're making crap up.
