Phil just seems clueless to me, but Kaz acts like he thinks he can sell playstations like he could sell dentures to senior citizens. I let the games speak for themselves. I don't need Ridge Racer being yelled at me to inspire me to purchase a PSP or Playstation 3.

Picked up MH:F for 24$ and so far it's a great game very impressed with the game play and graphics are just outstanding. There is no way this game is a Gamespot 6.5 i would give it a 7.5 to 7.8. so now there is 5 games i a happy with

1. Pirates

2. Prince Of Persia

3. Daxter

4. Fifa 07

5. Monster Hunter

Got_Made

I didnt like it. I thought it was crap.

I'm not of an extreme opinion such as Got_Made, but I think the lack of online play, decent story mode, and somewhat clunky controls turned me off to it.

My understanding was that the Emotion Engine could do a few tricks that the PSP couldn't, plus I believe that the PSP can only render half the polygons of the PS2 (PS2's 66 million to PSP's 33 million). The graphics of the PSP can only look comparable to the PS2 by comparing it's current size to a PS2 on a TV screen. We've seen things so far like GTA: LCS when it was blown up for a TV screen that shows the limited amount of textures that the PSP can do because of the space limitations of the UMD format. I think the PSP can perform pretty close, but it won't hit the PS2 maximum. Likewise because of that, developers should be scaling their projects back a bit. Games like Daxter, R & C: SM, and MGS: PO shows that the PSP is capable of some great graphics if developers work with it.

I still need to pick up Daxter now that the price has dropped on it. There are quite a few new games coming that I need to pick up too like Silent Hill 0rigins and Crisis Core. I've been pretty happy with my PSP since I've bought it.

DS is so much better than the PSP.

I have a PSP and I actually do use it as a paperweight. Only reason I am keeping it is for God of War and Parappa

Battleer

Thanks man for the help it doesn't seem as if I'm getting much :( (even though sales are 40 to 20).

Dr Hyde come on man thats a great way to debate. Put up some logical proof if you want to disprove it.

G-man: I'm actually starting to think that way as well but we'll see how this turns out:lol:

I don't need to put any logical proof into it. It's a matter of choice. Even reviews from any site are subject to the users opinion. I get loads of use out of my PSP from being a gaming device to a music player to a video player, and sometimes if my computer is tied up by my GF, I'll even use the web browser to get some web browsing out of the way. I also, on occasion, pick up my GF's DS and play some Nintendogs or NSMB. Unfortunately though, most of your "logic" is just plain wrong or horribly subjective. A case could equally be made that the DS runs the way of the PSP with ports and rehashes and the five hour playtime you suggest is absolutely wrong as I can easily get 10 hours out of mine on a full charge with the original battery, not even considering the boost to it with the 2200 battery that I've yet to test. Only first generation games were plagued with bad load times and most of the recent games have very little such as Tekken and MGS: PO.

Battleer, you are to the DS what Mr_Sams is to the PSP: the absolute worst representation of fanboys.

This guy also did the Kaneda for the redub of Akira so as long as he acts hella cocky in the game he's got my vote.

Game looks pretty sweet. Obviously graphically better, but some of the gameplay seems to have a bit of God of War influences in it now such as throwing enemies and more emphasis on aerial melee combat. The telepads that Nero uses to quickly get around the level look cool at hell. The only downside is it sorta looks just like all the other Devil May Cry games. They still have that really cheesy guitar track and vocalist I remember from three. The taunts are pretty lame but I think I'd be too involved in combat to notice them much. I'll say one thing though. As great as the game looks, Devil May Cry doesn't have the highest replay value so I seriously doubt this will be a system seller for me in either 360 or PS3.

I prefer my PSP, but I goof off with some Nintendogs every now and then.
