Borderlands for sure. Looks great! I played through Fallout 3 twice. I'm done with that game. I played the Brutal Legend demo and hated it. I can't stand Jack Black though, so that might have something to do with it.
They made CryEngine3 Specifically for the Xbox360 and PS3. So, yes, Crysis can and will be able to run on consoles. However, it's obvious to anyone with a brain that there will be concessions in draw distance, resolution, etc. At the end of the day, I'm glad it will be coming to consoles. I'll finally be able to focus on the game and won't feel the need to keep toying with the graphics settings like I do on my PC. It's like an obsession when I play that game.
Neither. You can get both of them much cheaper used. Games on Demand is a rip-off. They're both fun games in their own right, though. If I had to choose between the two, I would say that Mass Effect gets my vote.
I liked Fallout 3, but I loved Oblivion. Fallout just didn't feel as "adventurous" IMO. That, and the fact that you only have one class that you can be in Fallout 3. I liked being able to switch it up in Oblivion.
I have an Arcade 360 with the 20GB Hard Drive from my launch Pro 360. I had 3 systems die on me. After the 3rd one, I just bought the Arcade with the Jasper Motherboard to end the issue for good (hopefully). I'm not buying a bigger Hard Drive until the price goes down on the 120GB.
I just played the demo tonight, and it was ok, I guess. Just a little to hack & slash for me. Which is a shame, 'cause it has a lot of charm to it. Maybe I'll give it a purchase some day. There's just too many other games I'm going to be busy with this winter, like MW2 and Borderlands.
To be a GREAT Single Player game it has to: 1. Wow me from the get-go. - A distinct feeling of greatness that pulls me in. 2. Have Great/Fresh Graphics - Lets be honest, they DO make a difference. 3. Be immersive - To the point that I forget what time it is, or, even better, know that it's late and not care because I can't step away from it right now. To be a GREAT Multiplayer game it has to: 1. Be a game in the COD or Battlefield franchises :) I don't think there can be a Least important aspect of a game. They're all important.
With the way first-person shooters have evolved, I'm not so sure I would like to see it re-made. I won't be buying Perfect Dark again, either. The only reason they are doing that one for XBLA is that Rare can't make a good game to save their soul anymore. So, why not put out the same game again, and make money off it, again. Weak. I loved Goldeneye 64, don't get me wrong. But, those were different times. I'd rather keep my untarnished memory than pay another $15-$20 to remind me how happy I am that video games have progressed.
