[QUOTE="DiggityDoggie79"]

I own the limited edtion of Crysis and Crysis 2. I will be pirating Crysis 3 since I won't buy a game that forces me to use an OS that I dislike. Good thing I spent a whole day making my pirated windows 7 as identical to my custom XP as possible so when new games come out I can just install my backup image of Win7 that I created and play the game. When I'm done I can reinstall my legit XP image making things exactly the way it was as if I never left XP. Best part is it only takes 15 minutes to make the switch to or from XP. That is how it will be from now on since I won't pay for something that I can't use on my primary OS. Since I don't use Win7 and only use it temporarly to run a game, I don't see why I should pay for it. The move of no longer supporting DX9 games is going to make a lot of loyal XP users just pirate more and more. DX11 is a joke. I've seen so many better looking DX9 games such as the original F.E.A.R. or Mafia II. Those games look amazing. DX11 is nothing more than true DX9 at it's best. Black Ops II calls itself DX11, I thought the graphics looked like Turok from 2008 which is DX9. I own a huge collection of games and wish I could continue building that collection. Looks like my game buying days are over. At least Mass Effect 3 multiplayer will keep me busy for the rest of the decade on my beautiful customized XP that looks and runs so much better. I'd rather repay MS $140 every 10 years to renew my XP license(if it'll continue support) than to downgrade to Win7 for free.

Ah so your a retard Enjoy living in 2000, one day you'll realize that windows 7 isn't bad and provides you with better features, especially if you are a gamer ^_^.

It's "you're", you're a retard If you're going to insult someone for liking something different than you, you should at least use proper grammar. So if I drive a 1957 Chevy in mint condition does that make me a retard just because my car stands out amongst the rest? I believe in personal preference, not doing what everybody else thinks everybody else should be doing.

He's right it really is crap.  The original with forced 1920X1080 resolution does actually look better.  Another thing, I noticed there is no way to bind the zoom key and they downgraded the flashlight.  I always use right mouse to zoom, that binding key is there in the original but not BFG.  My performance with 4xAA actually slowed down a bit in some areas, in the original with forced HD, not only does it seem a bit sharper but there's never a single hiccup even with forced 8xAA.

windows xp is so much better. I was just on win7 and went back to xp for the 15th time. I got my pc hooked up to my tv and everytime I watch a movie or play a game, something isn't right. Like with the movies, I experience a vertical line like you do in games with vsync off...I'm sure there's a way to fix it, but that's exactly why I hate win7, you have to spend time tweaking everything one by one to make everything just right, on xp you install something and it's always good to go...long live xp. Win7 sucks, I gave it several tries and I never keep it.
