Almost every company wants an IT guy.

I'm curious to see what everyone does here, since I take interest in the occupation of others, espeically if I know very little about it. If you're a student and don't work, then feel free to list that, but let us know about your major. Feel free to add a description too. :)

As for me, I'm currently working as an office manager at Microsoft (one of the branches, that is). Other than that, I do modeling gigs from time to time and I do freelance writing.

I'm looking forward to hearing what others have to say.

I don't know why,but I don't get much of a good vibe from bands like this.

I mean,with people like Mikael Akerfeldt(sp?) and Dave Mustaine out there who are not only great vocalists,but play heavy,complex riffs in some pretty lengthy songs.I Just don't get the "wow" factor when I listen to bands like slipknot that play pretty simple songs that fall around 4 or 5 mins(but maybe the problem that they're not good is the reason :P )

Its not a breaker for me,its just not as impressive.

Dave Mustaine is a great guitar player, but not a great vocalist. Besides, I wouldn't judge a singer because he doesn't play an instrument onstage.

Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden solely sings and doesn't play an instrument onstage, but that doesn't mean he can't. He's an adept drummer and guitarist. In fact, he writes quite a nice chunk of Maiden songs and he uses the guitar to do so. I saw a video of him playing guitar and he's quite good.

That said, many singers can play an instrument, but they just focus on singing instead.

A lot of bad advice on here from boys who cowl like whipped dogs. Sucking up to her demands is a great way to lose respect.

First of all, look at it this way. Your girlfriend wants to invite another guy to a party where she'll get drunk, right? Is that disrespectful, or what?

You can work this two ways:

1) Tell her to go ahead. Then later tell her that you're going to hang out with another girl. If she gets pissed, then call her on it.

But I really recommend:

This is what you tell her: "Go ahead, but know that you won't have a boyfriend if you do. Good luck and call me when you change your mind... If I'm still around." Then hang up on her.

Don't argue it, but just tell her that if she does it, then you're finished with her and MEAN IT!! If she does, break up with her and don't take her back. If you take her back, then you're just basically telling her that it's okay to go out with guys and get drunk with them.

Weight lifting combined with cardio. On top of the, proper dieting and rest.

Doing a bunch of ab workouts and nothing else will give you little or no results. You'll work out your abs all right, but you'll still have the layer of fat over them.
