I've only played for maybe 1.5 hours, got through 3 story missions. After being a regular Destiny player from Alpha til now, my initial impression was they have somehow made things a little more challenging. Not sure how, but it felt more hectic, frantic and chaotic. I was well above the recommended light level and still had moments where I was at a sliver of health running for cover.
The graphics in-game don't seem any different to me, but the cut scene graphics...holy crap, they're frickin gorgeous.
Lastly as part of my initial impression, I was a surprised to find that when I hurried over to the Exotic blueprint booths looking for a new set of mysterious rows of what-could-they-be exotics to be drooled over....Nothing. Still Year 1 and Year 2. No Year 3. That was definitely disappointing.
Oh well, I love the base game, the expansions and the group of rather dedicated homies I play with, so more is always welcomed. $30 was an easy choice for me.
@asneakypoptart: I love PS4 because it helps me connect with my buddies who I just sorta know aren't the type to get a get out there and build a gaming PC...but damn...my gaming PC is looking more and more interesting as these fees, upcharges, yearly subscription, etc. add up....
@iandizion713: Prime 3 sorta lost me in the Wii Controls...In fact the Wii sorta lost me in its control scheme, I just don't really care for motion controls. I enjoyed Prime 1 and 2 on the GC controller, but to each their own.
