"Interactive Compendium ($10) will add $2.50 to the total prize pool."
Is a line a lot of people ignore/don't realize.
Forgetting what we contributed to the total prize, we pretty much have also payed for producing the event with the stage, theater, and all the misc. stuff.
What in the world are you talking about? LoL is just a passive farm fest that has so many "for fun" limitations on the game play it may as well be a pokemon game..
I think a LoL fanboy would cry at any Hero that requires actual skill like Meepo or Invoker because there's NOTHING like it in the baby game..
Also amazing just how much stuff LoL ripped off from Dota, and continues to do so. Kind of funny to watch them desperately change their spectating client again and again to try and compare to Dota 2's for example..
"or otherwise they would be ripping off LOL characters"
Is this for real? Even a braindead LoL fan has to know that LoL transplanted their champions and features almost EXCLUSIVELY from Dota.. Even more then HoN..
This is like "I downloaded Dota 2, I played 2 games, I did bad, it's an awful game that's just stealing from LoL!!!"
Steam already has many lines in their ToS for dealing with Europes differing laws of the US. They aren't going to touch them with that junk.. Same as when people said Steam charging sales tax would "make it illegal" for foreign markets.
Anyways, this crap will get thrown out so fast it will be a joke and viewed as a publicity stunt for whatever they're trying to do..
