Title should be, "We can't beat this game and we're jealous of those who can so we're going to say this game needs to be easier so we can join in that small group of gamers and not feel left out or have this hanging over our heads forever."

This is only an issue for today because games are extremely easy nowadays. It's almost a walkthrough for most games and that's fine for some but don't get twisted when a game comes out that's aimed at the hardcore crowd. From what I've seen most average gamers enjoy trying to do something they're not used to and appreciating those that can. With that being said you're going to have your rage gamers that will get mad, complain about the difficulty, and start criticizing it because..... they can't beat it.

I had my rage moments and cussing the screen but after about 330 deaths I have beat Cuphead. It's truly a rewarding experience to be part of the 5% that's actually beat it. If you're seriously going to be sore about the difficulty then maybe don't play it or stick to the many other games that have doable difficulty.

I seriously don't know how anyone could want the Xbox One. The marching touts army of EA and Microsoft against used game sales, the exclusion of offline gamers (10s of millions that can't get internet), privacy issues, you can't rent, borrow, disconnect the awful kinect, and a lackluster lineup save a couple. If anyone thinks that Microsoft and EA partnership is a good thing you're losing it. Let's see what's up with Sony in a bit and hope for the best because there is no way in **** I'm buying an Xbox One.

Also, to people who think Microsoft has ever had a leading console system...

It barely outsold the GameCube by a few million, PS2 killed both of them in the 6th generation.
The Xbox 360 is in last place in the 7th generation. The Wii won it. PS3 just passed it in sales recently.
And for the 8th console war, I don't see Xbox One being anything but second or third.

Traded my PS3 for a Wii U. Love it, Miiverse is a great community, and more games are coming, especially Monolith Soft's new Xeno game..

Plan from there...

Buying a Roku 3 for streaming services, pc media, or I can use an external USB HDD, at 1080p/7.1.

I'm not, getting an Xbox one.

Waiting on Sony to see if I'm skipping on Playstation 4 but I'm a huge MLB The Show fan but we'll see if they have DRM, Online requirements.

What are your plans?

@DemonCore @Deiradinn Not the point I made. Even if certain families could they still couldn't play games. For people to think, the answer to that is "just don't buy it" is also naive. We can speak up against corporations leaving out a huge sections of residents. Resist all these restrictions, and try to create a change. Just don't buy it, is not the only option. We can speak out against it.

I speak for the lower income families and rural residents, because I've lived around and been one all my life. I'm now at the point where we can pay bills, afford house supplies, gas, insurance, internet, tv, netflix, hulu plus and still have a little left over. I can get a used game, and enjoy one per month or so. For most of my life we couldn't get internet, and then most of the time couldn't afford it.

I have so many friends on a bypass road that doesn't even offer high speed but they'll play offline, and it's their main entertainment. All of them prefer Xbox 360. If they want to update a game, or a system update they'll visit one of us with internet. Can you imagine having to do that every 24 hours just to play your console. Not only that! Not being able to afford new games and you trade in your old ones to chip off some of a new game to get that one you have been wanting or borrow it from a friend. You can't, or without a headache and restrictions.

Can you imagine being a huge Microsoft exclusive fan and just happen to live in an area without internet but you just want to play the campaign. What about hard times when the bills pill up and the internet goes off, and that little bit of stress relief by playing a used game on a refurbished system is all you had, is gone.

I understand, all to well, what's it's like to live in one of these areas and it sickens me for everyone to just say "who doesn't have internet these days". Well take 20% of 350 US residents for one, add that to the percentage of people who just can't afford it working just to pay bills. Then imagine that over half of those families, at least, have kids/members who play video games. That is a HUGE number of people.

Stop and think of people sometimes before you spout out, "who honestly doesn't have internet?".

@AlkaPorty @dpc I assume they'll offer the Xbox One games from a service that streams it to the system, of course you'll have to rebuy it.

@dpc As well as military personnel that try to relax with a game of Madden with friends, Call of Duty, or whatever their entertainment relief game-wise may be.
