Don't worry, this game has a ton of stuff to remember and learn but eventually it all just clicks. Once that occurs, you will be having so much fun doing anything.

Another Empire would be too soon, so that's unlikely. I did think of Chinese Dynasties, which would be interesting. WW1 and on would not be possible unless they revamped the entire engine and mechanics. Then it would not really be a traditional total war game, it would have to play similar to company of heroes or something. Reason being, line formations were not used for infantry anymore like during the civil war and colonization eras So all modern conflicts would not be suitable, unless someone explains otherwise. What I didn't think of is fantasy setting. I probably didn't think of it because TW followed history. Anyways, now that I do think of it, I would not mind a middle earth type TW game, with different names for everything of course.

Who else wants M:TW updated with the Rome II engine.

Personally, that era (1000-1400) is my favorite as far as the european continent is concerned.

Which is why Crusader Kings II is my most played game over the last 3 months.

Anyways, I know some people would complain if CA made M:TW3 next instead of trying a new region.

But then again, Medieval did come right after Rome originally in terms of the games (also historically I suppose).

My opinion is, I wouldn't mind the next TW being an updated Medieval. I would fully support it, it would actually make me more excited than any other TW game has thus far.

How about you guys?

Day365 Pros: patches (less bugs, more optimizations, better gameplay balance), purchase game + all DLC for a lower price (goty edition etc), user & critic reviews better reflect the game. Con: requires patience Why do people still preorder or buy very soon after launch? Are preorder bonuses (hats, 1 extra map etc) that powerful? I know I can't be the only one who sees value in waiting.

also, the 750m sli has about 5-30% better frame rates compared to 765m on most games. I just have to wonder if its worth it for most games i play.

ive been looking at the y510p for a while

the 750m sli is definitely better than the 765m. its just the drivers and game support that concern me. especially some lower end games that might not have support.

Hello everyone!

I'm currently in the market for a laptop that can play some casual games while also have a 1080p screen resolution for my work as a doctoral student. It cannot be larger than 16" and has to be quick for the next 2-3 years. I also dont mind playing some more intensive games at 720p to improve performance.

Games include LoL, WotR, Simcity, Diablo3, Starcraft2, Dota2, Deadspace123, Masseffect123, Civ5, and more but none more intensive than these mentioned.

Anyways, I narrowed down my search to this laptop. Anyone suggest a better one for the price?

It has a 765m which is great for casual gaming.

thanks!

Not worth it!??!!?

you havent seen how bad my viewing angles are and how bad the screen washes out!

with 1920x1080 I can also have 2 Word documents side by side without having to zoom out

but thats besides the point, I dont exactly need an IPS panel, any VA panel is fine, or a super high quality TN panel.

also I know screens cost less than 100 dollars and that makes it worth while for me.
