OH my goodness! Some of the games you guys mentions are awesome. I can't believe someone said Gears of War. Crackdown was so much fun. Tom Clancy games??? Anyways, Superman returns was bad. I don't ever regret things but I can honestly say that game sucked LOL. You guys are pretty harsh critics =).
Simple, I pretty much buy them all. I am a 32 year old financial advisor LOL... MY 5 year old and myself play games all the time when we are not at the ball park or I am not gardening with my wife. To the teens out there, do well in school because it will pay off GREATLY in the future! ;)
I've been paying online games since they first started on just about every system. XBL is up there as a leader. A pc is a pc. You can't compare the two. Now, as for the morons that you'll encounter on a daily basis online, that's a whole other story. How many times have we been in a fight or a mission with a team of trusted morons *(whether it being in Halo 3, Guild Wars, Socom, WOW etc...) and the team starts disappearing. You find yourself with one other poor soul taking on an armada of aliens or a team of snipers snuggled up on rooftops. Fact of the matter is, you will encounter idiots online. Oh, and please don't forget the cheaters walking through walls and sneaking up behind you to place a 12 gauge to the back of your head.
As for comcast, verizon and road runner, Cable internets rock. If you can't keep up with technology, you probably ought to stick to campaign modes and forget online.
I went into a Game stop and the kids there were extremely rude and ignorant. They were badmouthing the PS3 and the Xbox360. Then they started badmouthing a black guy in the store because he was driving an SUV with 21 inch wheels on it. One of the guys accused him of being a drug dealer. I was in ther with my 4 year old son and I asked the clerk, " did you ever consider the fact that the guy might have a real job for a living unlike yourself?" Not my kind of store.
