seems some gamers are confusing James Cameron's 2009 Sci-Fi movie 'Avatar' with Nickelodeon's animated T.V show.

The first game to include 3.D technology will be released onto XBOX 360 sometime this year. If I am correct, the game will be based on the movie Avatar. Any info would be appreciated, as a 3.D game sounds interesting.

If you don't use headphones for gaming then I'm sorry to inform you that you are missing out ! Yeh it's cool playing through your latest game with your surround sound turned up high, but nothing quite compares to blasting away a few enemies with a decent pair of ear blasters on ! They create much more of an atmosphere. Playing games with your surround sound on never really makes you jump quite like headphones do ! Plus there's no worries about disturbing the kids, the neighbours, or even the wife or the girlfriend ! Personally, I've been using headphones for years. Technics mostly. It would be interesting to hear what other gamers are using ?!

I just bought the elite as I was waiting for the price to drop to around £200. in the UK.. And I have no regrets. The red ring of death only really effected the first batches of 360 that were released, obviously like most electrical goods you will encounter faulty goods, but most gamers will probably inform you that the 360's seem to be ok now since microsoft upgraided the chips to the falcon chip. Apparently Microsoft intends to upgraid the chips once again to the Valhalla chip, this is ment to be a new all in one chip that might even be released in a slimmer 360 fall 2009. But if you cant wait till then (like me) buy the ellite, coz it gives you more space within the hard drive to store stuff, games, videos ect.. your game tag is your personal name(I.D) which you use online, you also need it to save your games as it keeps a count of all you acheivments you earn whilst completing certain objectives whilst playing through games.. In time other gamers who use xbox live will learn to recognise you by your game tag.. your online friends ect.. dont bother with silver membership because it limits your abitities whilst online, on silver membership you cant even play on line, unless its a special weekend ! only go for the gold membership coz you can download loads of great stuff, demos, games, videos, ect It just depends what type of games you are into really.xbox360 is known for the best shooters.. whilst P.S.3 hosts only a couple of great shooters but many many platformer titles. hope this helps.

I prefer the 360 to the P.S.3 quite simply because most of the shooters I'm into are exclusive to Microsoft.... but I also enjoy playing colourful platformer titles just for a change.. If I'm honest, I'm not investing in a P.S.3 just so I can play the occasional platformer title, at the end of the day, I simply don't have money to burn !.. When I owned the P.S.1 and the P.S.2 I enjoyed playing through titles like "Jack and Dexter" ("Crash Bandicoot" before they ruined the franchise !) and "Rachet and Clank" ... When I heard that Banjo Kazooie was being released onto 360 I thought to myself "Great, looks like the 360 is finally getting a decent platformer".. But after learning it was a vehical based title, I was disapointed. If you've already played a decent platformer, or are currently playing through one at the moment on the 360 (either on xbox live or on disk) I would be greatful if you would let me know, because when ever I look on xbox live there never seems to be anything listed under platformer titles !?

if you are certain that you have changed your mind about the console, open it (so the retailer can see that you've actually used it) then when you return back to the shop with it, tell them that its works ok for a while but after a while it crashes... but tell the shop that you have tried playing a selection of different games, but the console still crashes.. I bought an xbox 360 elite and two titles twelve months ago but for some reason it wouldnt except one particular game on the orange box disk, I exchanged the game for another copy of the same title but it still wouldnt let me play through one particular game on the orange box disc without problems. I just explained that the console wasnt playing disks properly, and the shop was quite happy to give me a refund.. Just make sure that you dont tell them that you've just simply changed your mind.. As long as you tell them its faulty; they should give you a refund with no arguments. you should be able to return faulty goods for upto 28 days.Well you can in the U.K anyway.

I've noticed that GAMESPOT are recording fewer video reviews these days ! Even releases that are getting 8.5 ratings by GAMESPOT don't seem to be getting video reviews at the moment ! Gamers that have invested a lot time and money into GAMESPOT should'nt have to watch video reviews on other sites. Sort it out GAMESPOT.

DZbricktop... It states clearly in the first paragraph that the reason I posted the info was because I found a couple of interesting articles whilst surfing the net. I simply thought the info might be appreciated by gamers who don't "Know It All" like you ! Gamers who can digest literature without twisting it !
