Not very. I am a believer of the Christian philosophy, but I don't associate myself with the organization of faith, IE: religion. Sure I have faith in a higher being, but I don't follow all the dogma of any church. I consider organized religion to be just an invention of mankind as much as politics. But, I believe faith can still exist in a pure form.
I guess I am old school. One of my favorite lines that defines my opinion comes from Thomas Paine's 'Age of Reason'.
"I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church.
All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit."
