Thing is, I'm not necessarily saying I won't play these games because they are female leads, I'm merely saying that I can't relate to them, and it haevily detracts from the overall game. I mean, just check my reviews. I gave Still Life (has a female lead) a fair scoring, despite not being able to get into the character. I just don't enjoy games with female leads anywhere near as much.I just don't understand why that would detract from the overall experience.

Sure would, its not like I'm 100% sexist or anything. I simply cannot relate to female leads. It just feels too fake. In fighting games, its not like I'm going on some epic role playing journey to save the earth, I'm just beatin up some dudes and thats the end of it.Well if thats the case then why can't you just realize that a female in a video game is just that. A character in a game. It shouldn't really matter how you relate to her I mean you're jsut having fun. James Bond is prolly the most pimp guy on the planet that every Male can relate to. Did that stop Perfect Dark from being an amazing game? No it did not. Having Joanna Dark in the game instead of Bond didn't change the game to a point where it was unplayable.
It maybe my opinion and you really shouldn't take it too seriously. But damn man, I lost a huge amount of respect for you today. I think you're attitude to females in video games is just down right shameful.

Why is it though everyone thinks hes sexist because of that? Now its going from sexism to racism and it very pathetic. A guy refusing to play as a girl is NOT like someone refusing to play a lead character because hes white and the player is black.
its still sexist, you shouldn't be prejudice for any reason of gender, and just because its a game doesn't change that.
