Anyway to get back on topic I'm not surprised by GS's score. Either way I might pick this up when it gets cheaper because the multiplayer demo was a lot of fun.

Anyway, I can't wait till Gears 3 comes out. I bought a 360 pretty much just for Gears and Alan Wake so GeOW 3 is definitely one of my most hyped games this gen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Tekken 6 (PS3 version) and SSBB being added to the roster this year? Also, from what I remember, MW2 is gonna have 360, PS3, and PC dedicated competitions. Also, if SSIV makes it in, I'd put my money on it being the PS3 version. Then again, you're probably just trolling so I'll stop feeding you now :oops:

Even after MW2 left such a bad taste in my mouth... I will stay optimistic about this game. Why? Simply because I loved WaW so if this comes out to being even remotely similar, I will buy it day one.

I'm sorry but in all honesty if hermits want to argue with their beloved PC's library (not calling you a hermit or attacking you personally), then they should only count games that came out THIS GEN (from 360's launch onward). Constantly adding games from previous gens to exclusive lists is not fair at all...

Anyway I'd have to say 360 and PS3 are practically tied in terms of quality games.

I'd argue that what made the game so great was the sense of accomplishment felt throughout the game. It was the first and so far only game I got a platinum for and it is undoubtedly the most rewarding experience this gen.

Wii: SSBB was the reason I purchased one, Monster Hunter Tri is the reason I haven't sold it yet.

360: Gears series was the sole reason I bought a 360. Halo 3 and Dead Rising were just bonuses.

PS3: MGS4 was the reason I bought a PS3 before a 360.

Gears 1 commercial was probably the best video game commercial I have seen this gen and possibly ever. I like the Gears 3 trailer a lot too but I don't think I'd go as far as to say it was better than the Gears 1 commercial.
