I think people are forgetting that nintendo is the only company that is ran by people who care about video games. Microsoft and Sony are ran as part of a corporation. Nintendo is gaming. They are the reason games are where they are right now. Try and tell me that any game out there is more iconic that Mario or Zelda.

Also, the head of Eidos???? Why would anyone listen to that guy. What has Eidos done that gives them the knowledge to tell Nintendo what they should do.

I cant imagine Microsoft would do something as stupid as permanent connection gaming. That would be a death toll for the system. If you are getting 90% of the same games as PS4 without having the internet connection required, why go Xbox? I am a big 360 person, i never bothered with a PS3 but that would push me right into Sonys camp. Even if the new Xbox revolutionized gaming in unforeseen ways the always on connection would kill sales.

I'm a firm believer that while Schilling and his company had issues, it was the government in Rhode Island that messed this all up. They wanted out and they wanted all their money ASAP. While i cant blame them for that, you have to be reasonable. 38 had a deal underway when all this happened that would have saved the company, but since the governor or whoever went public with these issues, the deal was sunk and that caused all the problems.

A lot of developers care, but i guarantee that nintendo is the only distributor that gives 2 ****s. Wii u is only struggling because of lack of games. Hell there arent even good games coming out for the other consoles right now, much less a brand new system.
