I don't know why gamespot is adiment to make such a fuss of this. It'll just enable more graphics whoring for nothing.

I've waited to comment until I played a big part of the game and I can say there's some things that I don't agree with. If you're annoyed by the fact that you're being pinned while you're saving you're really not doing your best to "manage your alien". Wait it out before you're saving, in a closet, under a table, use your tracker, wait untill it's 98meters away, or when you hear it crawl into a vent, than save.

It's never boring like stated in the review, because there's always this nagging feeling in the back of your head that the alien is there. Ofcourse in the last part of the game the pacing changes, but the atmosphere and story and mood of the game gives me that authentic "alien" (and also a bit dead space) feeling that I can't help but being entertained.

The alien might seem random but there's game mechanic in there. It will always roam around you using you as a beacon of it's awareness, it will drop down, then climb up and you just have to LISTEN to take advantages. Tha's what I find awesome about this game.

So 11/10 for me!

it's making people who are already sensitive to this even more crazy, I don't know why they do this.

@youre_a_sheep I silently wonder sometimes if those who need every new graphics card that comes out are also complaining about microtransactions and and day one dlc's :)

There's just disadvantage to buy it on a ps4 also. All these costs can be reduced :)

well that wasn't very surprising that even the steam version is going to require uplay. I already noticed that they did that with blood dragon a year ago.

@SipahSalar Like the devs already said, Zoë from dramfall was limited to the technology of that time (also due to the fact that they needed to be a port for xbox). If you're going to make a chazracter in 2014, they are going to be far more detailed and, some of the eye and face details aren't masked by shader techniques that are deforming the face as it was intended even. I can't get why people whould want her face to have been so disproportionate and flat.

Now with this new engine they can make it seem more real.
